Lugano Region. My Own.
What expectations do you have for the Monaco et Suisse Investment Forum scheduled for March 17, 2023?
We, as the regional tourism board, are responsible to promote the tourist offer as well as to stimulate the tourism industry environment of the region, by engaging in development projects and coordinating activities for and with our stakeholders, both public and private entities. The Forum in Monaco is the perfect setting to present the region of Lugano to the Monegasque public, in particular to investors and interesting and innovative companies, but also to potential visitors and, in doing so, portray the image of our destination and our vision for the destination in an important market.
What makes Lugano interesting to the Monegasque public?
If Monaco is undoubtedly the destination par excellence of the international jet set, Lugano has, in its peculiarity as a town straddling Mediterranean and Alpine culture, much to offer besides the green waters of the lake and its chestnut-covered hills. The typically Swiss discretion allows one to mingle with the people strolling the streets of the old town between local deli shops, independent craftsmanship stores and luxury boutiques. Discover the local award-winning wines in the various estates of the region or explore the villages in the surrounding hills in total harmony. It is not for nothing that personalities and people from around the world have been choosing the region as a destination to live, work and relax for more than a century.
